Notice

The Regional Director General for the Gulf Region, Department of Fisheries and Oceans hereby gives notice that the area listed below in the Province of Prince Edward Island is no longer closed for fishing for any bivalve molluscs due to contamination: 
 
Waters of Southwest River upstream from a line drawn at grid reference 458250 5146200 at Fitzsimmons Point to 459000 5145900 and to a line drawn at grid reference 457500 5145500 to grid reference 457900 5145725. (Refer to map Summerside 11 L/5, Edition 4) 
 
Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (North American Datum 1927).
 
Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order GSN-2005-221 is revoked.
