Notice

The Regional Director General for the Gulf Region, Department of Fisheries and Oceans hereby gives notice that the areas listed below, in the Province of New Brunswick, are closed for fishing for any species of clams, mussels, oysters and any other bivalve molluscs including bay scallops:

  1. A portion in the northern part of Tabusintac Bay from grid reference 351103E 5244832N to grid reference 350842E 5244692N. (Refer to maps Tabusintac River 21 P/6 and Wishart Point 21 P/7).

  2. A portion in the northern part of Tabusintac Bay from grid reference 350203E 5244430N to grid reference 349660E 5244695N. (Refer to maps Tabusintac River 21 P/6 and Wishart Point 21 P/7).

  3. A portion in the northern part of Tabusintac Bay from grid reference 349121E 5244875N to grid reference 348601E 5244730N. (Refer to maps Tabusintac River 21 P/6 and Wishart Point 21 P/7).

  4. A portion in the southern part of Tabusintac Bay from grid reference 348737E 5242953N to grid reference 349102E 5242716N. (Refer to maps Tabusintac River 21 P/6 and Wishart Point 21 P/7).

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid System set out in the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (North American Datum 1983).
