Notice

The Regional Director-General for the Gulf Region, Department of Fisheries and Oceans hereby gives notice that the areas listed below is closed for fishing of any bivalve molluscs in the Province of New Brunswick:

  1. The waters of Bay du Vin river upstream of a line drawn from grid reference 336921 5211666 to grid reference 337048 5211682. (Refer to Map Chatham 21 P/3).
  2. 2. The waters of Hortons Creek inside of a line drawn from grid reference 335280 5211800 seaward to grid reference 335310 5211940 then eastward to grid reference 336260 5212000 and then southward to a point on shore at grid reference 336280 5211850. (Refer to Map Chatham 21 P/3).

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid System set out in the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources. (North American Datum 1983).
