The Regional Director General for the Gulf Region, Department of Fisheries and Oceans hereby gives notice that the area listed below is closed for fishing for any species of clams, mussels, oysters, whelks and any other bivalve molluscs including bay scallops:

The waters of Baie St-Simon-Nord enclosed by the coastlines and inside a line drawn from coordinates 47.749257 -64.846534 located east of Pointe à Thomas, to coordinates 47.747176 -64.845593 to coordinates 47.742908 -64.815139 to coordinates 47.739783 -64.813771 located West of Pointe aux Bouleaux, then to Rivière Brideau at coordinates 47.739806 -64.841010 to coordinates 47.740299 -64.843909 then from coordinates 47.747200 -64.856753 to coordinates 47.747489 -64.855325 to coordinates 47.749444 -64.856861 to coordinates 47.749131 -64.858085 and from coordinates 47.750422 -64.860836 to coordinates 47.752552 -64.860180.

Note: When the geographic boundary of an area is expressed in Latitude and Longitude, those point references are expressed using the datum World Geographic Coordinate System 1984 (WGS84), equivalent to North American Datum 1983 (NAD83).  Positions are expressed in decimal degrees.
