The Regional Director General for the Gulf Region, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, hereby gives notice that the areas described below are closed for fishing for any species of clams, mussels, oysters and any other bivalve molluscs, including bay scallops in the Province of Prince Edward Island:


1. St. Peters Bay and Morell River inside a line drawn from grid reference 522965E 5141604N to grid reference 525136E 5141604N (Refer to map Mount Stewart 11L/7) (NAD 1983);

2. St. Peters Bay and Midgell River inside a line drawn from grid reference 528628E 5140611N to grid reference 529003E 5140527N (Refer to map Mount Stewart 11L/7) (NAD 1983);

3. St. Peters Bay inside a line drawn from grid reference 530927E 5141352N to grid reference 530555E 5140546N (Refer to map Mount Stewart 11L/7) (NAD 1983);

4. North Lake inside a line drawn from grid reference 571420E 5146330N to grid reference 571450E 5146310N (Refer to maps Souris 11L/8 & 11K/5) (NAD 1927);

5. Fortune River inside a line drawn from grid reference 549092E 5131070N to grid reference 549132E 5131357N (Refer to maps Souris 11L/8 & 11K/5) (NAD 1983);

6. That portion of Boughton River inside a line drawn from grid reference 539490E 5123990N on Poplar Point to grid reference 539450E 5123510N on Chapel Point and all tributaries to that portion of the river (Refer to maps Souris 11L/8 & 11K/5) (NAD 1927);
 
7. The waters of Georgetown Harbour from a line drawn from grid reference 535587E 5114168N at the end of the wharf at Gaudin Point then southward to grid reference 535585E 5113338N to grid reference 536815E 5112609N then northeast to a point on land at the east end of Poxy Island at grid reference 537437E 5113363N. 8. The foreshore and waters of Brudenell River within a 125 m radius of grid reference 532200E 5116100N (Refer to map Montague 11L/2) (NAD 1927);

9. Waters of Cardigan River (Byrnes Creek) inside a line drawn from grid reference 531300E 5119575N to grid reference 531520E 5119400N (Refer to map Montague 11L/2) (NAD 1927);
 
10. Flat River inside a line drawn from grid reference 509600E 5094430N to grid reference 509600E 5094640N (Refer to map Montague 11L/2) (NAD 1927);

11. Murray Harbour and South River inside a line drawn from grid reference 537830E 5095990N on Machons Point to grid reference 540321E 5096384N on Beach Point (Refer to maps Boughton Island 11L/1 and Montague 11L/2) (NAD 1927);

12. The waters of Murray River upstream of a straight line drawn from grid reference 532380E 5096580N to grid reference 532380E 5096152N (Refer to map Montague 11L/2) (NAD 1927);

13. The waters of Little Basin inside a line drawn at the bridge from grid reference 536394E 5100342N to 536428E 5100342N (Refer to map Montague 11L/2) (NAD 1983).

14. Marie River inside a line drawn from grid reference 526762E 5140307N to grid reference 526838E 5140300N (Refer to map Mount Stewart 11L/7) (NAD 1983).

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (North American Datum 1927 and North American Datum 1983).
