The Regional Director General for the Gulf Region, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, hereby gives notice that the area listed below is closed for fishing of any bivalve molluscs in the Province of New Brunswick.

  1. The waters of Shediac Harbour, Parlee Beach and Lac des Boudreau inside a line drawn from grid reference 379662 5121434 on Cape Church to grid reference 382012 5122114 on the outermost point of the government wharf at Pointe-du-Chêne to grid reference 383362 5122314 to grid reference 384162 5122064 to grid reference 387902 5121704 and thence shoreward to grid reference 387812 5121324 on Cap Bimet.   2. Kouchibouguac River and the waters off Robichaud between a line drawn from grid reference 393262 5119894 on the government wharf to grid reference 395232 5119982, and a line drawn from grid reference 394682 5118804 to grid reference 394512 5118764. Refer to map Port Elgin 21-I/1.
  3. Tedish River and Friel Brook inside a line drawn from grid reference 399822 5120594 to grid reference 399862 5120594. Refer to map Port Elgin 21-I/1.

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (North American Datum 1983).
