Notice

The Regional Director-General for the Gulf Region, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, hereby gives notice that the areas listed below will be opened for fishing of any bivalve molluscs:

  1. Waters of Bay St-Simon south inside a line drawn from grid reference 369250 5291850 at Point Brulée thence seaward to grid reference 369000 5292500 to grid reference 365250 5288750 at Pointe à Bouleaux (Refer to map Caraquet 21 P/15, 16 & 22A/1,2).

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid System set out in the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (North American Datum 1927).

Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. GSN-2004-28 comes in effect September 22, 2004.
