Notice

The Regional Director-General for the Gulf Region, Department of Fisheries and Oceans hereby gives notice that the areas listed below are closed for fishing of any bivalve molluscs in the Queens County, Province of Prince Edward Island:

  1. Winter River inside a line drawn from grid reference 497063 5136514 to grid reference 497103 5136374. (Refer to map North Rustico 11L/6).
  2. The waters of Hornes Creek and its tributaries inside a straight line drawn from grid reference 482487 5139364 to grid reference 482737 5139214 (Refer to map North Rustico 11 L/6).
  3. The waters of McCallum Creek and its tributaries inside a straight line drawn from grid reference 485487 5139914 to grid reference 485687 5139889 (Refer to map North Rustico 11 L/6).
  4. The waters of Governors Island inside a straight line drawn joining the following grid reference 494462 5109814 to grid reference 494462 5108414 to grid reference 496463 5108414 to grid reference 496463 5109814 and back to 494462 5109814 (Refer to map Charlottetown 11 L/3).

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid System set out in the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources. (North American Datum 1983).

Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Orders No. GSN-2004-02 is revoked.
