The Regional Director General for the Gulf Region, Department of Fisheries and Oceans hereby gives notice that the area listed below is closed for any species of clams, mussels, oysters and any other bivalve molluscs including bay scallops in the Province of New Brunswick:

All the waters of Shippagan Harbour enclosed by the coastline and inside a line drawn across Shippagan Gully from grid reference 375222E 5286386N to grid reference 375042E 5286284N and to a line drawn from grid reference 369320E 5292072N on Pointe Brûlée to grid reference 371707E 5293140N to grid reference 373132E 5291422N near Pointe à Peinture. (Refer to maps Tracadie 21 P/10 and Caraquet 21 P/15, 16 and 22 A/1 and 2).

Note:  When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid System set out in the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (North American Datum 1983).
