Notice

The Regional Director General for the Gulf Region, Department of Fisheries and Oceans hereby gives notice that the area listed below is closed for fishing for any species of clams, mussels, oysters, whelks and any other bivalve molluscs including bay scallops in the Province of Nova Scotia:

That portion of Little Harbour known as Chapel Cove inside a line drawn from a point at 45.64378° north latitude, 62.54028° west longitude, to a point at 45.64891° north latitude, 62.54635° west longitude, to a point at 45.64968° north latitude, 62.54447° west longitude. (Refer to map New Glasgow 11E/10).

Note: The Latitude and Longitude positions are expressed in decimal degrees based on the datum World Geodetic Coordinate System 1984 (WGS84) which is equivalent to the North American Datum 1983 (NAD 83) system.
