Notice

The Regional Director-General for the Gulf Region, Department of Fisheries and Oceans hereby gives notice that the area listed below is open for fishing for any bivalve molluscs in the Province of Prince Edward Island.

The waters of Boughton Bay inside a line drawn from a point on land on the western shore Cape Spry at grid reference 547500 5122415, then westward to grid reference 547200 5122415, then southward to grid reference 547220 5121815, then eastward to grid reference point 548230 5121815, then northward to grid reference point 548230 5122115, then westward to a point on land on the eastern shore of Cape Spry at grid reference point 547950 5122115.

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (North American Datum 1927).

Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. GSN-2005-162 comes into force on July 14, 2005.
