NOTICE

 

The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, issues the Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. SSN-2013-172 which closes the following areas to fishing for all species of clams, all mussels, all whelks, all oysters and Bay scallops:

 1.   That portion of Little Port Joli Basin inside of a line drawn from grid reference 355260 4858306 to grid reference 355195 4858476.  Refer to map Port Mouton 20P/15.

 2.   That portion of Port Joli inside or north of a straight line drawn from an unnamed point of land at grid reference 346463 4860023 to another unnamed point of land at grid reference 346171 4859212. (Refer to map Pt. Mouton 20P/15).

 3.   That portion of St. Catherines River Beach inside of a line drawn from grid reference 353995 4856489 to grid reference 353821 4856723.  Refer to map Port Mouton 20P/15.

 Note:           When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (NAD 1983).
