Notice

The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, hereby revokes the Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-SSN-2014-017 and closes the following areas for fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, mussels, whelks, oysters and Bay scallops: 

  1. Musquodoboit Harbour inside a line drawn from grid reference 496149E / 4946607N on Jeddore Cape to grid reference 487221E / 4947241N on Collies Head. 

 

Note:   When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid                                 references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (NAD 1983, Zone 20).
