Notice

The Regional Director-General for Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Maritimes Region, opens the following area to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, oysters, all whelks, and Bay scallops:

All waters within 3 km of the mainland coastline and islands in the eastern portion of Yarmouth County from grid reference 268866E / 4848445N on Crowell Point (Roberts Island) to the Yarmouth/Shelburne County Line.

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (NAD 1983, Zone 20).

The Maritimes Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-SSN-2014-024, is hereby revoked.
