Notice

     The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, opens the following area for fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, mussels, oysters, whelks and Bay scallops:

The waters within 3 km of the following coastline and islands.

The Inverness-Victoria County line west of Meat Cove to a point at 701721E / 5195702N near White Point, Victoria County including the  waters of Aspy Bay, and North and South Harbours.

Note:  When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (NAD 1983, Zone 20).

 

The Maritimes Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-SSN-2014-022,  is hereby revoked.
