Notice

The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, opens the following area to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, mussels, oysters, all whelks, and Bay scallops:

 1.  All waters within 3 km of the mainland coastline and islands in the eastern portion of Shelburne County from grid reference 338588E / 4844982N on Louis Head to the Shelburne/Queens County Line.

 2. That portion of Medway Harbour, including all waters within 3 km of the mainland coastline and islands, from Medway Head at grid reference 376834E / 4884730N to grid reference 380564E / 4888434N on Pollock Point.

 

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid  references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (NAD 1983,Zone 20).

 

 

The Maritimes Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-SSN-2014-026,  is hereby revoked.
