The Regional Director-General, for Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Maritimes Region, issues Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-SSN-2015-006, closing the following area to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, mussels, oysters, all whelks and bay scallops:

 

The tidal and foreshore waters within Annapolis County:

 

  1. With a line drawn at the Pinkneys Point grid reference 286882 4945015 with a line drawn to Winchester Point  286708 4944111. Refer to Map Digby 21 A/12

                                                                                        

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (NAD 1983).
