Notice

The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, issues the Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-STN-2015-002 which closes the following areas to fishing for all species of clams, all mussels, all whelks, all oysters and Bay scallops:

 

That portion of Mahone Bay inside a line drawn from grid reference 398962 4904758 (Zincks Point) to grid reference 410528 4928574 (Coveys Point). Refer to Map Chester 21A09.

 

 

Note:   When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (NAD 1983).

 

The Maritimes Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-STN-2015-002, is hereby revoked.
