 NOTICE

The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, issues the Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-STN-2015-004 which closes the following areas to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, mussels, oysters, all whelks and bay scallops: 

A portion of Clam Harvest Area 7 (sub-sector 16B) namely Campbells Point to St. Stephen (Bar Road), New Brunswick and described as: 

That portion of Passamaquoddy Bay and St. Croix River, Charlotte County, New Brunswick, inside a line drawn from grid reference 6527 9820 at Campbells Point, to grid reference 5405 9063 on Navy Island, thence along the outer limit of the foreshore of Navy Island to grid reference 5231 9180 on Navy Island thence along the outer limit of the foreshore to grid reference 5092 9293 at Joes Point, thence to grid reference 4680 9991 at Sandy Point, thence to grid reference 4605 0205, and thence to grid reference 4551 0420 at Hills Point.  Refer to maps St. George 21 G/2 and St. Stephen 21 G/3. 

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (North American Datum 1927).
