Notice

The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, hereby revokes the Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-SSN-2015-022 and issues Prohibition Order No. MAR-SSN-2015-025, closing the following area(s) to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, mussels, oysters, whelks and bay scallops: 

            Due to historic bacteriological water quality results: 

Waters of St. Marys Bay near Meteghan and Saulnierville within two kilometers of the high water mark between grid reference 725066E / 4894492N and grid reference 728839E / 4908145N near Comeauville.   Zone 19. 

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (NAD 1983).
