Notice

The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, opens the following area to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, mussels, oysters, all whelks, and bay scallops:

            Nova Scotia (Maritimes Region):

All waters within 3 km of the coastline and islands of Kings, Hants and Colchester Counties,

- Cumberland County from the Colchester County Line westward to McKay Head at 406161E 5027702N (NTS Topo map 21H/8) and

- Cumberland County from Cape Chignecto at 347603E 5021233N (NTS Topo 21H/7) to the NB-NS border

Note:   When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (NAD 1983).

The Maritimes Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-SSN-2015-030,  is hereby revoked.
