Notice

The Regional Director-General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Maritimes Region, issues Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-SSN-2016-100, closing the following area to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, mussels, oysters, whelks and bay scallops: 

That portion of Portage Creek inside a line drawn from grid reference 655892E / 5088576N to grid reference 655994E / 5088578N. (NAD 1983, Zone 20).  Topo Grand Narrows 11F/15. 

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (NAD 1983).
