The Regional Director-General, for Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Maritimes Region, issues Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-STN-2016-003, closing the following area to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, mussels, oysters, all whelks and bay scallops: 

A portion of Clam Harvest Area 7 (sub-sector 15A) namely Letete Passage & Mascarene Shore (Letete Wharf to Midjic Bluff), New Brunswick described as: 

That portion of Letete Passage and Mascarene Shore inside a line drawn from grid reference 665708 4990839 at the wharf to grid reference 665422 4991077 on Cooks Island, thence to grid reference 664049 4991188 west of Hoyt Island, thence to grid reference, thence to grid reference 663022 4992788 west of McMahon Point, thence to grid reference 662839 4994773 west of Clark Point, thence to grid reference 663006 4997001, thence to grid reference 664236 4997964, thence to grid reference 664490 4997700 at Midjic Bluff, thence along the shoreline and back to grid reference 665708 4990839 at the wharf.  Refer to map St. George 21 G/2.  

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (North American Datum 1983).
