Notice

The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, opens the following area to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, oysters, all whelks, and Bay scallops:

 

Zone 1 of Annapolis Basin which includes Deep Brook:

           

The foreshore and waters within straight lines drawn from grid reference 292644 4949360 at Shaws Point to grid reference 290617 4951314, thence to grid reference 283386 4948269 to 281698 4950620, thence to 281234 4949289 at Rattling Beach. Refer to Map NS18.

 

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (NAD 1983).

 

The Maritimes Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-STN-2016-013 is hereby revoked.
