Notice

The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, opens the following area to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, oysters, all whelks, bay scallops and sea scallops: 

A portion of Clam Harvest Area 2 described as:

That portion of the waters of Big Joggins, inside (south) a line drawn between the abutments of the Highway 101 bridge from grid reference 282251 4942274 to grid reference 282319 4942279. (NAD 1983, zone 20) Refer to Map: Digby 21 A/12. 

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (NAD 1983). 

The Maritimes Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-SSN-2016-011, is hereby revoked.
