Notice

The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, opens the following area to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, oysters, all whelks, bay scallops and sea scallops: 

A portion of Clam Harvesting Area 4 (sub-sector 13), and portion of Scallop Fishing Area (SFA) 29 namely Indian Point, Nova Scotia and described as:           

The waters located inside (north) of a line drawn between Second Peninsula (400221 E

4918313 N) and Zinck`s Cove (403362 E 4932197 N). Refer to Maps Lunenburg 21 A/8 and Chester 21 A/9.  

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (NAD 1983). 

The Maritimes Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-STN-2016-014 is hereby revoked.
