NOTICE DOMOIC ACID
The Regional Director-General, for Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Maritimes Region, issues Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-STN-2016-021, closing the following area to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, mussels, oysters, all whelks, bay scallops and sea scallops:
A portion of Clam Harvesting Area 2, namely Zone 3 Annapolis Basin, Nova Scotia and described as:
The foreshore and waters within straight lines drawn from grid reference 289633 4952262 at Black Point to grid reference 292644 4949360 at Shaw's Point (NAD 83).
Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (North American Datum 1983).
