Notice

The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, opens the following area to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, oysters, all whelks, and bay scallops: 

A portion of Clam Harvesting Area 7 (sub-sector 17B), namely Deep Cove Western Shore, Campobello Island, New Brunswick and described as:

The foreshore and waters within 300 m of Campobello Island, between grid reference 6270 7559 at Man of War Head and grid reference 6028 6775 at Cranberry Point including Mallock Beach, Bald Head, Dunn Beach, Friars Bay Beach, Snug Cove, Ship Cove, Union Cove, and Deep Cove.  Refer to map Campobello Island 21 B/15 & 21 B/14. 

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (North American Datum 1927).

The Maritimes Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-STN-2016-022 is hereby revoked.
