Notice

The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, opens the following area to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, oysters, whelks, and bay scallops:

A portion of Clam Harvesting Area 7 (sub-sector 16C), namely Oak Bay East (Conditional Area) described as:

The Eastern portion of Oak Bay inside a line drawn from grid reference 4512 0456 (North of Hills Point) to grid reference 4469 0473 to grid reference 4310 0927.  Refer to map St. Stephen 21 G/3.

Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (North American Datum 1927).

The Maritimes Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-SSN-2016-006, is hereby revoked.
