The Regional Director-General, for Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Maritimes Region, issues Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-SSN-2001-017, closing the following area to fishing for any bivalve molluscs:

 

  1. That portion of Head Bay Cove in Richmond County, inside a line drawn from grid reference 4289 6338 to grid reference 4290 6348.  Refer to map Port Hawkesbury 11F/11.

  2. That portion of Black River inside a line drawn from grid reference 4861 6255 on Ballams Point (Ballam Head) to grid reference 4922 6270.  Refer to map Port Hawkesbury 11F/11.

  3. That portion of the cove on Wilsons Island inside a line drawn from grid reference 7400 7065 to grid reference 7400 7055.  Refer to map Grand Narrows 11F/15.
