The Regional Director General Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Maritimes Region, issues Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MSN-2017-031, closing the following area(s) to fishing for all species of clams, quahaugs, mussels, oysters, all whelks and bay scallops:
The following area within or adjacent to: Guysborough County, Nova Scotia:

All tidal and foreshore waters of St. Mary’s River upstream from a line drawn from grid reference 585278 4990513 to grid reference 585881 4990595. Refer to map Country Harbour 11 F/4 and 11 C/13.

That portion of St. Mary's River inside a line drawn from grid reference 585881 4990595 to grid reference 586240 4989993 at Jacks Cove, Sonora. Refer to map Country Harbour 11F/4 & 11/C13.
Note: UTM grid reference coordinates are provided in NAD 83 datum (Zone 20).
The Maritimes Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. MAR-SSNP-2014-001, is hereby revoked and replaced by MSN-2017-031 and MCH-2017-001.
For further information contact your local Fishery Officer and refer to Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order MSN-2017-031 signed on July 27, 2017 and MCH-2017-001 signed on July 10, 2017.
