The Regional Director General of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Maritimes Region,

issues Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No.: MSN-2019-414

 

Closing the following area:

 

Place Name: : Portions of Southwestern Nova Scotia, Bay of Fundy, Minas Basin and Shepody Bay, New Brunswick..

 

 

All waters within 3 kms of the foreshore of the coast and islands of:

1. In Nova Scotia,

a) a portion of Shelburne Co west of East Point near Cape Negro (43.5348 N, 65.3443 W);

b) all of Yarmouth, Digby, Annapolis and Kings Counties;

c) that portion of the Minas Basin west of a line from Burntcoat Head, Hants Co (45.3113 N 63.8069 W) to Economy Point, Colchester Co (45.3489 N, 63.8857 W);

d) the shoreline of Cumberland County on the Minas Basin and Bay of Fundy to the Nova Scotia-New Brunswick border;

2) In New Brunswick, a portion of Westmorland County from the Nova Scotia-New Brunswick border to Cape Maringouin (45.7275 N, 64.5524 W)
