Notice

Pursuant to Subsection 6(1) of the Fishery (General) Regulations, the Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, Fisheries and Oceans gives notice by Variation Order MAR-VAR-2019-138 that fishing for herring and mackerel with a Gill Net that contains monofilament in the netting is prohibited in Herring Fishing Areas 17-22 and Mackerel Fishing Areas 17-21 from May 1st to July 15.

 

The Maritimes Region Close Time Variation order VAR-2011-117 is hereby revoked.

 

This order will remain in effect unless otherwise revoked.
