Notice

The Regional Director-General, Maritimes Region, for Fisheries and Oceans gives notice that the Close Time Variation Order MAR-VAR-2020-013 is in effect so that fishing for scallops by vessel class C4000 to C4200 (Full Bay Vessels) in that portion of Scallop Fishing Area 28B (known as the Wolves) is permitted from 06:00 hours to 18:00 hours on Monday to Friday. Note Friday fishing is permitted from 06:00 hours to 18:00 hours then closed until the following Monday at 06:00 hours from January 14, 2020 to April 1, 2020. 

The conservation zone known as The Wolves is closed from April 1, 2020 to January 12, 2021 at 06: 00 hours. 

That portion of Scallop Fishing Area 28B (known as the Wolves) is bound by straight lines joining the following points in the order in which they are listed:

2            44° 55.005' N               66° 42.964' W

3            44° 55.005' N               66° 48.631' W

4            45° 00.321' N               66° 43.031' W

Note  The geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude) are expressed in the North American Datum 1983 (NAD 83) geodetic reference system 

 

The Maritimes Region Close Time Variation Order MAR-VAR-2019-062 is hereby revoked.

 

The Vessel Classes are identified on a Licence or Vessel Registration Card.
