Herring Mobile Gear Fishery Closing in Trinity Bay

DFO advises that the Mobile gear Herring fishery in Herring Fishing Area 6 (Trinity Bay) in NAFO Division 3L will close at 0900hrs on June 9, 2016.

Fishers are reminded that all fishing gear must be removed from the water prior to the closure.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2016-052 has been revoked and Variation Order 2016-071 comes into effect on June 09, 2016.
