3LMNO Greenland Halibut (Turbot) Fishery Permit

DFO advises that additional fixed gear Greenland Halibut (Turbot) permits have been issued in NAFO Division 3LMNO and will be valid until October 15, 2017 at 2000 hours.

Harvesters who were successful in the draw have been notified by e-mail and licences conditions are available through DFO's National On-line Licencing System.

Fish Harvesters are required to hail-out to an At-Sea Observer company 24 hours prior to leaving port. All gear must be removed from the waters of NAFO Divisions 3LMNO at the end of the trip.

DFO reminds fish harvesters that VMS is required for all vessels greater than 10.668 meters (35 feet) that are participating in the 2017 Greenland Halibut fishery in NAFO areas 3LMNO.
