DFO INSHORE FISHERY OUTREACH MEETINGS (NAFO Division 3KL)

The Department of Fisheries and Oceans will host a number of meetings along the Northeast and East Coast of the island portion of the Province (NAFO Division 3KL) in early 2018. The intent of these meetings is to provide inshore harvesters and other interested stakeholders an opportunity to discuss matters of concern in current inshore fisheries. Our primary goal will be to hear harvesters' concerns with a view to working with them to develop feasible solutions. These meetings will be held in the following locations:

NAFO Division 3K

Baie Verte, Baie Vista Inn, Tuesday January 16, 2018 from 6-8 P.M.

Twillingate, Lion's Club, Wednesday January 17, 2018 from 6-8 P.M.

Fogo Island, Anglican Church Hall, Thursday January 18, 2018 from 10-12 P.M.

NAFO Division 3L

Hare Bay, Hare Bay Fire Hall, Friday January 19, 2018 from 2-4 P.M.

Bonavista, Lion's Club, Monday January 22, 2018 from 2-4 P.M.

Shearstown, Lion's Club, Wednesday January 24, 2018 from 10-12 A.M.

Riverhead, Royal Canadian Legion, Wednesday January 24 2018 from 6-8 P.M.

Ferryland, Southern Shore Folk Arts Centre, Thursday January 25, 2018 from 10-12 A.M.
