2018 Harp and Hooded Seal Fishery Opening in Areas 4 to 8 for Gulf-based Sealers

DFO wishes to advise Commercial Seal harvesters based in the Gulf, in Sealing Areas 9 to 11, that they will have access to the Front, in Sealing Areas 4 to 8, at 0600 hours on Tuesday, April 10, 2018.

Seal harvesters are advised to check with their buyers to confirm a market for their Seals before going Sealing.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2018-019 has been revoked and Variation Order 2018-022 comes into effect on April 10, 2018.
