Fixed Gear Capelin Fishery Reopening in a Portion of Capelin Fishing Area 3 in NAFO Division 3K

DFO advises that the capelin fishery for vessels using fixed gear will reopen on August 1, 2018 at 0600 hours in the following area of NAFO Division 3K:

Cape Fox to Hampden, White Bay (CFA 3)

 

Fish harvesters are advised to listen to 2598khz or VHF continuous Marine Radio for the latest information.

Licence conditions can be obtained through DFO's National On-line Licencing System.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2018-231 has been revoked and Variation Order 2018-238 comes into effect on August 1, 2018.
