Groundfish Fisheries closed for the 2018 Season

DFO reminds fishers that the following inshore Groundfish fisheries are closed:

- NAFO Area 3Ps Witch flounder fishery (2018-413)

- NAFO Areas 2J3KL Northern cod Stewardship cod and Cod Quality project (2018-418)

- NAFO Areas 2+3KLMNO inshore Greenland halibut (turbot) fisheries (2018-419)

- Inshore fixed gear Atlantic halibut fisheries for Newfoundland and Labrador-based fleets in NAFO Areas 3NO, 3Ps, and 4R (2018-417)

- Lumpfish fishery for all NAFO areas for the Newfoundland and Labrador fleet (2018-414)

- NAFO areas 3NO, 3Ps and 4R3Pn white hake fishery in the Newfoundland and Labrador-based inshore fleet (2018-416)

DFO reminds fishers that the following fishery remains open:

- Redfish in NAFO division 3Ps, unit h (2018-415)
