Fixed Gear Herring Fishery Opening in Notre Dame Bay

DFO wishes to advise harvesters that the fixed gear Herring fishery for bar/tuck seine will open in Herring Fishing Area 4 (Notre Dame Bay) in NAFO Division 3K at 06:00 hours on Monday November 4, 2019.

Conditions are available on the National Online Licensing System (NOLS) for harvesters with a fixed gear license for Notre Dame Bay.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2019-280 has been revoked and Variation Order 2019-286 comes into effect on November 1, 2019.
