FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE CLEAN TECHNOLOGY ADOPTION PROGRAM - FUNDING REQUEST IMPORTANT DATES

The Fisheries and Aquaculture Clean Technology Adoption Program (FACTAP) can provide funding up to 75% of eligible project costs to assist the fisheries and aquaculture industries in improving their environmental performance. The funding can assist the industry with the adoption or adaptation of market-ready clean technologies for aquaculture, wild capture harvesting and seafood processing operations.

Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis, note however that a project proposal review session will be taking place in the coming weeks as part of the initial application intake for 2019/20, please refer to the following dates should you wish to submit a proposal for the initial intake:

January 25, 2019: Expression of Interest (Application) Deadline

February 1, 2019: Project Proposal Template Deadline

April 1, 2019: Successful applicants notified

Please note that limited amounts of funding are available to support specific types of clean technologies and/or processes. Once funds have been allocated to a particular type of project, the likelihood of funding for similar projects will diminish. Lower priority will be given to projects submitted by a proponents who has already received FACTAP funding.
