3NO Fixed Gear Atlantic Halibut, Monkfish, Skate and White Hake Closing

DFO advises that the Inshore fishery in NAFO Divisions 3NO for Atlantic Halibut, Monkfish, Skate and White hake for all gear types will close on June 30, 2019 at 1800 hours.

This applies to vessel classes A250, A251, A253, A254, A256, A257, A259, A260, A262, A263, A265, A266, A268, A269, A271 and A272.

A further announcement on the reopening the Skate, Monk and Hake fisheries will be made at a later date once all landings in these fisheries have been assessed.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that the following Variation Orders have been revoked: 2019-099, 2019-104 and Variation Orders 2019-128 and 2019-127 comes into effect on June 29, 2019.
