2020 Atlantic Salmon Recreational Fishery – Reminder

DFO wishes to remind anglers that the recreational Atlantic salmon angling season opens on June 15 in Labrador (Zones 1, 2, and 14B).

Details on the regulations pertaining to bag limits, river classification, closed areas and special management areas are contained in the 2020 - 2021 Angler’s Guide which is available on-line at www.nfl.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/NL/AG/anglersguide

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Orders 2019-082, 2019-083, 2019-084, 2019-085 and 2019-086 have been revoked and Variation Orders 2020-076, 2020-077, 2020-078, 2020-079 and 2020-080 come into effect on June 13, 2020.
