Salmon Rivers Re-opening in Zones 3 and 14a

DFO advises anglers that the following rivers will re-open to normal salmon angling hours as of one hour before sunrise on August 7, 2020.

 

Zone 3

17 - Western Brook, Hare Bay

18 - Salmon River, Including Rose's Brook

19 - Easter Brook, Canada Bay

20 - Northeast Brook & Trib., Canada Bay

21 - Beaver Brook, Canada Bay

22 - Northwest Brook & Trib., Canada Bay

 

Zone 14a

164 - Caster River

165 - St. Genevieve River, Ten Mile Lake

167 - East River, St. Barbe

168 - Big Brook, St. Barb

169 - Watson's Brook, St. Barbe

170 - Pincent's Brook, Pistolet Bay

172 - Bartlett's Brook, Pistolet Bay

174 - Eastern Brook, Pistolet Bay

173 - Upper Brook, Pistolet Bay

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Orders 2020-153, 2020-154, 2020-155, 2020-156 and 2020-157 have been revoked and Variation Orders 2020-164, 2020-165, 2020-166, 2020-167, 2020-168 come into effect at 1700 hours August 6, 2020.
