Salmon Rivers Re-opening in Zones 13 and 14a

DFO advises anglers that the following rivers will re-open to normal salmon angling hours as of one hour before sunrise on August 21, 2020.

 

Zone 13

150. Humber River & tributary streams

 

Zone 14A

154. *Lomond Main River, (East Arm, Bonne Bay) including East Branch

158. Portland Creek River, including Brian’s Feeder

160. *River of Ponds, including Kate’s Feeder, Big Feeder Brook, Spring Tilt Brook (below Spring Tilt Pond) & Big Gulch Brook

161. *Little Brook Ponds & tributary streams

162. Torrent River & tributary streams

163. *East River, Hawke’s Bay

 

*indicates river has closed sections (reference Angler’s Guide 2020-21)

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Orders 2020-200, 2020-201, 2020-202, 2020-203 and 2020-204 have been revoked and Variation Orders 2020-207, 2020-208, 2020-209, 2020-210 and 2020-211 come into effect at 1700 hours August 20, 2020.
