NOTICE TO FISH HARVESTERS

At-sea Observer Conditions
Further to the recently released Fisheries Management Order 2020-03, DFO advises that you must have an At-sea Fisheries Observer on board your vessel when fishing multiple areas during the same fishing trip in fisheries where this is a requirement in your licence conditions.
Conditions, such as these, are intended to provide flexibility to the harvester to carry out a specific activity that is normally not permitted in that fishery.
