3KL (Areas 3-9) Herring Fishery Closing For GILLNETS ONLY

DFO advises that the fixed gear herring (Gillnet only) fishery for White Bay, Notre Dame Bay, Bonavista Bay, Trinity Bay, Conception Bay, Southern Shore and St. Mary’s Bay (Herring Fishing Areas 3-9) will close at 20:00 hours on Sunday, June 14, 2020.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2020-053 has been revoked and Variation Order 2020-062 comes into effect on May 29, 2020.
