Fixed Gear Capelin Fishery Closing in Trinity Bay (Capelin Fishing Area 6)

DFO advises that the capelin fishery for vessels using fixed gear in Trinity Bay (Capelin Fishing Area 6) will close, Friday July 24, 2020 at 16:00 hours.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2020-123 has been revoked and Variation Order 2020-133 comes into effect on at 1600 hours on July 24, 2020.
