4R ATLANTIC HALIBUT - SIXTH SEASONAL OPENING DATE

DFO advises that the Atlantic Halibut hook and line (long line) fishery in NAFO Division 4RST, for fixed gear vessels less than 65 feet based in Western NL and Southern Labrador, will open at 0600hrs hours on MONDAY, August 29, 2016. This fishery is open for vessel class A432 and will close at 2000hrs on September 4, 2016.

Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2016-187 has been revoked and Variation Order 2016-208 comes into effect on August 26, 2016.
